Recall - iBook and Powerbook G4 batteries

You may be aware that there has been a reported problem with 12" iBook and Powerbook G4, and 15" Powerbook G4 batteries. If you own one of these machines, please read the following document. This outlines exactly which batteries are effected and will inform you of the steps involved with the recall process.

If your machine and battery fit the above criteria, please fill out the form below. This is essential that you fill out each field correctly and carefully. This system ensures fairness, and allows us to efficiently process every claim as quickly as possible.

Please use the notes section for any comments, other information we may require i.e whether you require postage etc.

*Please Note*
Replacement batteries will not be posted until original batteries have been received.

There will be a 4-7 week wait from Apple on replacement batteries. As stated in the above documents, batteries should be immediately removed from machines in question. Machines will still operate using the Power Supply.

Any damage to goods due to battery failure while awaiting replacement may not be covered by Apple.
